As your hair grows, the attachment row moves down. During re-fitting it is opened, moved closer to the roots, and closed again.
Before re-fitting
Check the hair, the weft, and every bead for condition, buildup, and damage. Detangle carefully and work row by row.
Opening the beads
Open the flattened beads in a controlled way with the right pliers. Never pull hard on the weft or on your own hair.
Repositioning
- Release the bead and the weft.
- Carefully comb out shed hairs.
- Set the row again at about 0.5 cm from the scalp.
- Close the beads flat and check the tension.
Complete removal
For removal, all beads are opened and the weft is taken out without tension. If there is pain, matting, or any uncertainty, you should go to a Stessia partner.
